Freelance theatre director working in Cardiff and London.

As Director, theatre includes: Claw Hammer by Matthew Bulgo (Theatre503; The Other Room), Cold/Warm by Florence Read (Pleasance Courtyard), and Furry by Florence Read (rehearsed reading). Whilst at Oxford, theatre includes: Ghosts (Oxford Playhouse), Hamlet (O’Reilly Theatre), Richard Parker (C nova, Edinburgh Fringe; Oxford Playhouse), and A Doll’s House (O’Reilly Theatre).

As Assistant Director, theatre includes: Escape the Scaffold by Titas Halder (Theatre503; The Other Room) and Bouncers by John Godber (Oxford Playhouse).

As Associate Director, theatre includes Furry by Florence Read (Bunker Theatre) and The Effect by Lucy Prebble (The Other Room; Swansea Grand Theatre).

Projects I’m working on:

I'm currently developing an experimental, interdisciplinary staging of Samuel Beckett's 1959 radio play EMBERS, incorporating live foley, theatre, photography, and binaural sound.

In addition I'm working with playwright Florence Read to formalise and set up our new company Honest Method, with a view to staging our first productions in Cardiff and London in 2020. Part of this work includes a long term dramaturgical relationship with Florence and I'm working with her on a new play.
