What I do:
Hello! I'm a Welsh speaking actress/singer, originally from Clydach in the Swansea valley and now living in Cardiff Bay. I did a degree in Theatre Studies at Trinity College, graduated in 2005 and have since mooched around the Theatre scene doing all sorts of things!
I started off as an entertainments host in a Tenby hotel, then moved into acting with Mappa Mundi's 'Moll Flanders'. I did a T.I.E tour with Theatr na n'Og in 'Big Bad Wolf' in which I played the stroppy goat! I loved every minute of it, children are a delight to perform for as they are so honest (brutally so at times!). I've also assisted in and lead many workshops for them and am returning to na n'Og as a performer again next year.
I am also a singer and love performing musical theatre and light classical songs. I've sung with Peter Karrie as a guest artist in several of his shows and currently tour around a bit with a show called 'Swing to Classics'. I also sing in weddings but am a bit of a romantic so I nearly always end up in tears!!
I ventured into the scary world of TV a bit last year with an advert for a BBC 4 programme and a little part on Pobl y Cwm! More of that please! Also acted with Birmingham Royal Ballet on stage at the Wales Millennium Centre! I'm one of a very small number of actresses under 5 feet tall in Wales and they needed someone to play a child! So my littleness sometimes has advantages! Then I went on to play Talwlw in Martyn Geraint's panto at the start of 2009!
Talking of panto, in a couple of months, I'll be starting rehearsals for 'Jack and the Beanstalk' with the Owen Money Theatre Company, playing Princess Peach Crumble! Fun times ahead!
I'm very excited about National Theatre Wales and if these community pages are anything to go by, it's going to be fantastic!! How lovely to be given yet more opportunities on our doorstep instead of National Expressing it up to London every two minutes to look for them. Roll on 2010!!

Hi Rhian, welcome to National Theatre Wales! No worries about Sandpit, shame you can't make it but please follow the blogs as they come up! Really good luck with Princess Peach Crumble, that sounds cute... Have you got a fab costume??? It sounds like a lot of pink and yellow x
