Cast- Michael Aubin, Catherine Capelin, Brent Morgan , Aleks Wojitulewicz, Aimee Corbett, John Norton, Helena Harrison, Bethany Seddon.

Today the dirt arrives and I can't wait to roll around in it. Hamletown is set in an artist commune and
follows the story of the collective as they deal with the death of their leader. What attracted me to the project was the initial call that was looking for actors and performance artist for a project that would mix disciplines. This call was posted on the NTW community months ago now and informed everyone of open auditions being held in Chapter. In many ways I guess this is an unofficial NTW production, with the majority of the cast being found through the site.

So what is Hamletown about? Well it is a fusion between Shakespeare's Hamlet and the events leading up to the Jonestown massacre in 1978. That's the quick answer.

I have had a lot of fun working on this project and will be sad to see it come to an end, so don't miss your chance to see this show. Hamletown is on at 20.00 Friday 7th & Saturday 8th of May at Chapter Arts Centre. For more information please follow the link to the Chapter website. http://www.chapter.org/19158.html

Expect a longer post-show blog to be posted soon.
