Be Part of Queer Times - a collaboration between Mardi Gras and Mess Up the Mess theatre company.

Queer Times is an intergenerational heritage arts project encouraging dialogue within the queer community.

Participants will work with professional artists to use their creativity for open discussion, debate and to share their knowledge and experiences.

The project raises the profile of the queer community and the issues that both young and old face within society, challenging the taboos of sexuality and asking what it really means to be queer.

We are working with groups across Wales to develop and promote the project, including Stonewall, Transgender in Wales, LGBT Excellence and Age Cymru's Older LGBT Network.

We really hope you would like to join us too!

On the upcoming August Bank Holiday Weekend, we have a series of FREE workshops, happening in Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.

Saturday 25 - Sunday 26 August (9am - 5pm)

There are workshops in singing, acting, movement and storytelling (when participants will bring together skills from the previous 3 workshops), all lead by experienced professional artists.

Participants can attend as many, or as few workshops as they wish. Spaces are FREE but LIMITED!

If you want to register for the weekend, or a single workshop, just email: info@messupthemess.co.uk
