Today is my first day as the new Communications Assistant at National Theatre Wales. I'm really excited to be starting out on what sounds like it's going to be a really big adventure! 

So far I've been introduced to everyone in the office - all really nice and friendly - and been through some of my standard induction stuff like where to find the fire exit! I'm going to be learning loads more about the upcoming shows, ways we communicate and the other people we work with over the next few days. 

For the rest of the week I'll be finding out a bit more about what everyone does and spending some time at the technical rehearsals for #NTW15 The Village Social. This is something I'm really looking forward to. It's a real change for me to actually get involved in the production process of theatre rather than just promoting it from afar so I'll be sure to report back from that experience.
