Hi all!

So I've just been to see Frantic Assembly's production of Lovesong written by Abi Morgan (most know for her films at the moment- 'Iron Lady' and 'Shame'). I was very excited to see it as I LOVED the writing for both these films, and I've been a bit of a follower of Frantic Assembly for a while.

So when I came out of the theatre I didn't know what was going on? I expected to come out with a blotchy face, runny nose and blurred vision and needing some 'down-time' after. Instead I felt a bit dazed and just hopped on my train home. I'm a bit gutted as I had such great expectations for this show but was a bit disappointed to be honest.

Has my heart officially turned into stone or does anyone else feel the same? If you have seen it, it would be great to hear your opinions on it!

YES!! great expectations, but something just wasnt right for me, beautiful staging, movements but something just didnt quite "connect". Really interesting post show talk and some interesting theatre techniques to consider, but felt really on"one tempo" and didnt quite lift off, does any one else agree?

I didn't find it particularly moving, either. See here: http://www.buzzmag.co.uk/uncategorized/lovesong-stage-review/
