We decided to launch a Scratch theatre night offering an opportunity to theatre companies, performers and writers to show pieces of work in the very early stages of development. This event has been the most popular yet with the most entries for slots so far.

Scratch That Itch nights aim to give people a chance to share ideas with others and get feedback in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. It is not Britain’s got talent so people aren't given feedback by a panel of judges only by those who chose to approach them to discuss the piece or those who they approach and ask or perhaps some one will leave a note in your feedback book.

Scratch That Itch is also an excellent opportunity to see new work, many slots are filled with original pieces so if you are a fan of new writing or new theatre Scratch is the place for you. The night is fairly relaxed so if anything isn't to your taste you are free to slope off to the bar and come back for the next performer and as all slots are only 10 mins long it is never too long until the next piece.
