Young people are the future and need to be involved now
Funding for projects can be an issue.
Young people can sometimes on the periphery of theatre.
Should there be opportunities for pieces mainly driven by young people?
How do we involve young people in NTW?
Does NTW need to enhance its image, become more high profile?
Parts of Wales have a very limited Youth Theatre representation.
Are there enough opportunities for Young People as audience members? Ticket prices can be prohibitive. What about a scheme of pay what you think it’s worth or free entrance?
A production by Young People only would be an interesting idea.
Give them the time and opportunity to decide on the content.
Youth led theatre could invest in a future theatre audience and provide balance between performance, participation and audience.
Should we distinguish between theatre for children and theatre for adults?
Theatre needs to come into schools’ space and extend the repertoire of panto and Shakespeare.
Where is the Youth Theatre movement of Wales?
Should the NTW encourage YT so that by raising the status of young people they can influence change?
Forums could be created to have status and effect change.
Should funding be increased to give Young People a greater voice?
Where are the opportunities for Young People to train alongside professionals?
