On Saturday 3rd December I attended a leadership training day with NTW and my fellow team members. This was a great chance to see the development of team from the launch year and where we're heading.

I feel that in the launch year (and beyond) I have grown so much with NTW, from my starting point being involved in 'For mountain Sand and Sea' in Barmouth the journey I have taken to get to this Team leadership training has been so beneficial for me.

The training really got me inspired and I now feel like I could do a lot more than I thought in terms of being a 'leader', the training has excited me and made me really motivated. I think everyone felt like this by the end of the session.
I feel that everyone could identify with themselves that they too could be 'leaders', this was helped by the activities throughout the day. The activities allowed you to search for qualities inside yourself and realise what your strengths and weaknesses are. Hearing the opinions of others also helped as you could frequently relate to what they were saying and take something from that.
It was good to have a range of exercises that kept us engaged and interested and also helped with focus throughout the day. I especially found it useful working with other team members and hearing what they had to say.

I think other activities like this would really be great for the future of team. It was great for everyone to come together and learn and to hear everyone's stories of their experience with Team.

I encourage ANYONE who is interested in the future of theatre in Wales to Join Team!

Thanks for an inspiring day
