Calling all low-down-dirty-sinners & butter-wouldn't-melt-winners!

elysium gallery & ShellShock seek acts and arts, both heavenly and diabolical, to transform elysium gallery into an immersive experience of the afterlife; an exhibition and a month long series of events to explore every corner of heaven and delve into the deepest depths of the underworld to playfully examine notions of the afterlife....

We would particularly love to see works that -

Playfully satirise

Question and confuse

Shamelessly blaspheme

Cause Chaos

Provide Calm

Highlight our need for answers

Highlight the fact that there might not be any

THE END IS BY YUR will open with an evening of immersive performances, and will continue to host a series of events and performances in the gallery and round Swansea City Centre throughout March 2017.

We encourage applications / submissions from inquiring minds and souls from any artistic discipline.

We would especially like to make contact with artists from diverse religious and philosophical persuasions in the spirit of mutual exploration of these themes of grave importance.

Opening March 3rd and running until the March 31st.

Please submit up to 500 words telling us about you, your practice and your reaction to the THE END IS BY YUR. Please include pictures and/or videos if you feel they will support your application.

If you are a performer please send details of your availability for the opening event on the 3rd and the remaining dates in March.
