Profile Information

What I do:
Freelance Theatre Director and Lecturer in Performance at Bangor University
A little more about me:
Hi! I've been directing professionally for the last 5 years. Staging productions with the Welsh National Theatre (Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru) on a regular basis as well as Associate director of theatre company for children and young people 'Fran Wen' up until the end if 2015. I established a new young people's company 'BRAIN' with the company back in 2011 which is still going from strength to strength.

My creative interests are in the process of bringing people together and always questioning the potential of, what theatre can bring to our lives, and how can we continue to explore new ways of communicating the form with existing and new audiences? I'm always looking for work that 'talks' to us in contemporary society, that makes us think about how we live in the world, now.

I direct on a national level as well as site specific with in devised and new writing processes.
Caernarfon, North Wales
Projects I’m working on:
Just finished directing a Welsh Translation of Gary Owen's play, 'Mrs Reynolds and the Ruffian' (Mrs Reynolds a'r Cena Bach) with the Welsh National Theatre (Theatre Genedlaethol Cymru) this May 2016 and was selected as one of 12 UK Directors to participate in a research with the World renowned director, Thomas Ostermeier, in August 2016 (in collaboration with Living Pictures, Goethe Institute Glasgow, Schaubühne Berlin and The National Theatre of Scotland).
