At National Theatre Wales we are proud to be supporting Fly The Flag.  Check out the brilliant opportunity for schools to become involved by following the links below!

This June, schools across the UK are invited to take part in an international moment to mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Artist Ai Weiwei has created a new flag to symbolise universal human rights which will fly from buildings all across the world from 24 — 30 June 2019.

Fly The Flag aims to engage the next generation in understanding and valuing their human rights.
FREE cross-curricular resources for ages 5 to 18 designed in consultation with teachers, are available to download from www.FlyTheFlag.org.uk to support this learning. The resources use creative activities to promote enquiry and debate, and help pupils gain a better understanding about what human rights mean today. Plan your lesson or school assembly now and take part in this international moment.
To find out what events are taking place near you and for more details about how to Fly The Flag for human rights this June, visit www.FlyThe Flag.org.uk or sign up to the mailing list here
