A morning update from Marc:

Mog Edwards about Myfanwy Price UMW

I am a draper mad with love. I love you more than all the

flannelette and calico, candlewick, dimity, crash and merino,

tussore, cretonne, crepon, muslin, poplin, ticking and twill

in the whole Cloth Hall of the world.

From Marc . . .

Well I hope you managed to reserve a ticket for the show? The demand

has been overwhelming !

Here's a wonderful find that we discovered in the cellar of the former

Pub The Pelican, (where Dylan visited his father daily to do the Times

crossword before popping to Browns for a lunchtime libation. When his

father was dying Dylan wrote his most famous poem  -  'Do Not Go

Gentle Into That Good Night.' ) we found a boat bar , this is where

you'll find our Captain Cat (and no it won't be me ) serving cocktails

accompanied by contemporary Laugharne anecdotes .

A new post from Marc: Yesterday (February 27 th ) would have been Elizabeth Taylor'r 82nd birthday. She played Rosie Probert in the 1972 film version of UMW, here she is on set with Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole.
