Profile Information:

What I do:
I make and perform visually beautiful theatre and installations that warm your heart and blow your mind.
A little more about me:
I'm fascinated by the nuts and bolts of biological life and consciousness. Studying these subjects in depth quickly brings one to the realisation that the systems that underpin these are complex to the point of being ungraspable by the conscious human mind such is the speed, detail, inter-connectedness, vastness and minuteness involved. In short the fact that we are here experiencing anything at all is more extraordinary than any human drama. I make work that highlights this, embedded in warm. quirky, funny and touching narratives.

Having worked in this field full time for more than twenty years I have a broad range of skills, frequently being asked in as an outside eye for many Wales based dance and physical theatre companies and practitioners.
Location:
Cardiff
Projects I’m working on:
Mysterious Maud's Chambers of Fantastical Truth will be re-staged at Castell Coch for Halloween 2020. Other projects include a photo series titled 'Our Darker Stories', a Maud spinoff 'In Pursuit of Maud' and 'Tell Me Anything' - a pop up interactive piece mixing a confessional with a carnival fortune teller.

    Caroline,

I am responding to your entry re.Blood on the Snow.

To be honest I was hoping there might be something for me as an actor......there isn't!

Sounds a fascinating project which I would love to see.

Also, well done for paying the actors and paying well. Too many producers/directors seem to want something for nothing. Tried that one on my plumber the other day; he would have none of it, I can't think why! So, why actors?

All the best for the show. Will keep my eyes peeled for when/where it is.

    regards

    Phil Croskin
