I'm trying to create an online directory for arts events in Newport.

I want to cover absolutely everything, from community craft workshops to Opera in the Riverfront.

I'm doing this on an entirely volentery basis. I feel strongly about the arts in Newport, I see so many amazing and facinating things going on but with such piss-poor attendence. People often say "I didn't know it was happening" I'm hoping to erradicate this excuse.

BiteNewport offers bite-sized chunks of arts related goings on in Newport. It's as simple as that.

BiteNewport will exist exclusively online, primarily on Twitter and Facebook and will be a unique way of combining the relevant go-to information of an arts events directory, with the accesibilty of social networking.
