I am sure that Jacob will be heartened by messages of support from Wales.  I know that he is hugely committed to the long-term survival and development of Freedom Theatre, so probably doing whatever we all can to support the company will be the best way forward.  I will leave him to answer questions about the best way of voicing support and protest.

John, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could it be posted across all groups as it is so important?

It needs politicians to have their attention drawn to it.  Could our community begin a lobbying process?

Just read the news on the NTW site.

This is an outrage.  Firstly just sending solidarity to you and all your team.

Secondly will try to raise awareness here.

Giving a voice to the voiceless is inspirational, honourable and a function of theatre in a civilised society.

When that voice is suppressed all our voices need to be raised in defiance and condemnation.

This is awful, but I think from things I've read and seen that this is common practice - if they feel the 'place' whetherit be a home or not is of threat they will attack or bulldoze. What can we do about it? Could we contact the embassy? Petition??
