Spectaculu was founded in 2000 by designer, producer and art director, Gringo Cardia, amongst 2 others.
Spectaculu is located in an old refurbished warehouse in Rio de Janeiro’s port area, alongside the city’s main bus terminal where it is easily accessible to anyone. The organization’s objective is to provide these youngsters with numerous skills and increase their self-esteem to provide them with a more solid platform for both their future personal and professional growth and development.
Spectaculu is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization that offers young people between 16 and 21 from low-income communities in and around Rio de Janeiro the chance to complement their education with artistic, cultural, and professional development and initiative during their formative years.
