This week we held the first of our Regional Rethinking Education Meetings.  This was the West Wales group and we met at the fantastic Creative Common in Haverfordwest.

Steve Blandford kindly gave us an introduction to the work of National Theatre Wales and we spent a productive two hours discussing the amazing creative work of teachers, youth workers and arts practitioners in Pembrokeshire, who all gave us wonderful advice and great suggestions about how to create an effective and useful NTW Education Programme.

It was great to hear from so many enthusiastic and interesting people who are all dedicated to their professions and who all see the great need for our young people to be encouraged as artists of the future, able to develop a host of academic, personal and life skills through a creative approach to their education.

Our next meeting will be held in Wrexham at the end of October and I would like to extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to join us as we would really love to hear your voice.

Many thanks, diolch yn fawr!
