A huge thanks to everyone who took part in Room to Read in Cardiff on Saturday, creating an inverted mirror image of Penylan Library on the paved area outside it. Once again this outdoor read aloud event was a great success, with the beautiful autumn weather just adding a finishing touch to the warm atmosphere created by those who read and people who stopped to listen and look.

And a special mention for the scout troop who brought such energy, and especially the three girls who rushed into the library so they could borrow a book and join in - that's initiative for you!
