Scratch that Itch is a Scratch theatre event offering an opportunity to theatre companies, performers and writers to show pieces of work in the very early stages of development.

Scratch That Itch nights have been growing in size and have a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Every night has something different but one thing that remains the same it is a great way to meet other people in the industry and have a look at what they are getting up to.

The night aims to give people a chance to share ideas with others and receive feedback in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. It is not Britains got talent so people are not given feedback by a panel of judges but by those who chose to approach performers in the bar in between pieces or those who performers approach and ask. We also introduced feedback books for people who are shy so they can leave comments on the pieces with out having to talk to the performer.

Scratch That Itch is supported by National Theatre Wales Team. It holds regular events in Monkey Bar Swansea and has also held events at Watusi festival and Milgi Cardiff. We are always looking to grow and bring events to new places. So please contact us if you would like us to hold an event near you.
