Search for young actor aged 14-16 to take part in tour of Click by Dafydd James

We are struggling to find 1 final young make actor aged 14-26 to take part in Click by Dafydd James. Sadly last years actor can't be involved this summer and we have a newly drafted adapted script, a fab cast and crew and some great venues but are 1 actor short!

The young person needs to be able to play a shy character who is bullied but lives a totally different on-line life as a lip-syncing video maker whose films go viral known as Welsh Ninja.

The rehearsals and tours last year were a wonderful experience for all involved and we can't wait to share it with more audiences this year. If you know anyone who might be interested and who are from or have family in the Swansea, Carms or Neath Port Talbot areas who might be interested then please get in touch.

They don't need to have done much acting before as we will create a safe and supportive environment full of fun and hard work!

Click by Dafydd James

On-line/off-line: people aren't always who they seem to be. So how can you tell when things 'click'? Because it's not just a case of pressing return.

12 young people’s lives become increasingly interlinked through a series of chance encounters as they struggle to understand themselves and begin to forge surprising friendships that will change the way they view the world forever.

“Click from Dafydd James and Mess Up The Mess very special – witty, wise and a bit wicked.  Youth theatre at it’s best.”

John McGrath, National Theatre Wales

"Click truly captures the excitement and tempo of the digital age.”

Amelia Forsbrook, Buzz Magazine

"Fresh, funny, warm, bitter-sweet ... everything youth theatre should be."

Adam Sommerset, Theatre in Wales

Hi Sarah

Do they need to be 14-16 or look 14-16. I have a couple of student/ex-students who I'm sure would be fab. Could send their details your way if you're interested?

Hope all well
