I'm a theatre and media practitioner, having worked across the uk as an actor, director, technician, writer and facilitator.
In 2013 I went back to University to do a PGCE in Secondary and Post-16 drama... once I'd finished I realised Teaching wasn't where I wanted to be. So, having moved 'Lock, Stock and Barrel' to Birmingham for the PGCE I wondered where to go next! Having been a student in South Wales, still having close friends down here and with close family ties to the Valleys (Ferndale in the Rhondda!) I thought I'd take the plunge and return!
I'm very keen to get involved in lots of different projects and am in the process of restarting Human Compass Theatre in Cardiff... so please get in touch!
I'm currently involved with lots of different projects, the main one is at Maesteg Town Hall, Maesteg (just north of Bridgend) - have a look at the website: www.maestegtownhall.com

Hi James, yes we have a website - www.otherroomtheatre.com and you can reach me directly at kate@otherroomtheatre.com. We also keep everyone up to date through our twitter account - @TORtheatre. Keep in touch! Kate
Will let you know when the next one is coming up! We've just finished the illustrations for our next book How High Do Trees Grow? so it would be good to take that out and do some more storytelling :-)
Hi James. Play is going ahead, but in the hands of Rogue'z theatre now; see their page on facebook for booking an audition on/from 28 Nov. Thanks, Tim.
Welcome to the WalesLab group! Let me know if you have any questions about what goes on here but best thing to do is have a look round and start chatting to people if you see something you're interested in.
Hello Joshua - yes, it would be good to meet up and have a chat. Perhaps you could let me know when you're available once you've settled in. I'm putting a script-in-hand reading of the play on at the clubnight of my amdram group on 23 Oct - don't know if that would interest you?
