Working across Wales and the South West, Motherlode collaborates with an ensemble of actors, writers, musicians, creatives and choreographers to create entertaining, relevant new theatre that is inspired by real life stories. Run by artistic director Rachael Boulton with theatre maker Emma Vickery and producer Nia Skyrme, our first production The Good Earth successfully toured Wales and New York, between August and November 2016, and was shortlisted for two Wales Theatre Awards. We have also developed work with young companies, staging work at the National Theatre in 2016 and Wales Millennium Centre in 2017. We're currently touring our second production Exodus, which visits twelve venues this autumn before running at the Finborough Theatre London.
