Hi NTW friends!
I wanted to share some of my experiences with you as an artist and how WalesLab and taking part in Summercamp helped me get to what I'm up to today.
I was part of Summercamp 2013 where I met many lovely people and had to joy experience working with Simon Coates and Matt Ball.

Hello Jo!!!! I saw you in the corner of one of my photos from summercamp yesterday - smiling and being your lovely self - how spooky you got in touch on the same day!!!! are you going to write/record those holiday stories for me and the rest of the world then? With your voice and your impersonations??? I think they'd be fab. We are all well and getting ready for our holiday in London on Thursday - we're taking the children to the Harry Potter Experience and I have to say, I'm pretty excited myself ha ha... I had a really smashing time in Cardiff on Saturday - we had the TEAM panel meeting and then I went out to dinner with Sarah, Budd and Brent which was THE best time out since summer camp. You know me though, I wanted to stay! However, back in the land of the North, I have had a pretty good week and I've just had some good news (literally the email before your one), to say I've got onto an Artists as Learners at Oriel Mostyn - it's for artists to engage with hard-to-reach young people in galleries and I am so delighted (I was scared to open the email as I really, really wanted it...). And, I took my 'Queen of the Sea' piece to talk to an arts council officer last week at the Eisteddfod and she's encouraged me to apply for R&D funding - I know it's a long shot, but I'm much encouraged. So, what happened on holiday...?
Hey there! I was thinking about you yesterday... wondering how you were and wishing you were making me laugh in the kitchen at Trearddur Bay! I would love to be your friend - you look like you're gonna be busy... wish I was there to get involved - hope we can meet soon Jo - love love love - and theatre of course xxxxxxxxx
