I too will be along on Wednesday 19th -
Not sure how my diary is working out at the moment, but I will be there somehow
RC Annie's Theatrical Hand Gun workshop is in Cardiff next week
Cult Cymru have arranged for the day long course to be delivered twice on the 18th and 19th March.
It has taken a year to get them over here as they are very busy so don't let this opportunity slip by as it may be a while before they are back.

Hi,
I am a freelance casting director originally from Merthyr Tydfil but currently in working and living in London. I am looking to connect with Welsh theatre companies, producers, writers, directors and actors so I can come back and work back home as I currently come back just for a holiday to see my family and friends.
In London I am part of a group called The League Of Professional Theatre Women, it was originally created in America but last year a branch was set up in London. The aim of the league is to be a body that seeks to promote visibility and increase opportunities for women in the Professional Theatre.
The group unites all female professionals of the theatrical industry in the UK, to share ideas, news, promote events and support each other's work! We also want to fight for gender parity in the industry and are looking at campaigning for ways to change the industry to create more opportunites for women.
We are on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/484847981569852/ and Twitter @LofPTW and have meetings in London but I want to bring the League to Wales, primarily Cardiff first, so am looking for help from any woman who can book us a venue to arrange the first meet up for the end of the month and looking for anyone who maybe interested in joining the Welsh branch of the League.
Thanks and best wishes,
Caley Powell

Hi Everyone,
CTS have got some space work shop capacity at the moment. If you have any scenery requirements at the moment we would be able to produce the work quickly, and at the very good price. We can also do staging units, handrails, and wardrobe pans/boxes. Please feel free to get in touch. Cheers, Darren
is this working?
A conference was held in March about sustainable theatre.
Hosted by White Light and Julie's Bicycle a lot of suppliers attended from set recycling companies to solar powered site lighting suppliers. My favourite was a man who takes a pedel powered projector around Africa showing films in villages that have never had electricity.
There was an accompanying conference where theatre designers, set construction companies, festival organisers and lighting suppliers discussed how they are trying to cut back on their emissions.
The conference was opened by Alison Tickell, the CEO of Julie's Bicycle who give an impressive if ultimately depressing opening speech.
Have a look at here opening speech here:

Inspiring stuff.
