Likely Story are looking for a film maker!

Likely Story are currently working on their new show, www.seatownladies.com and we are looking for a film maker to record our sharing at Wales Millennium Centre on Thursday 13 November.  We'd like a straight recording of the event and  a short (max 4 min) trailer incorporating footage from the sharing and other material (still and moving image) that we have.  This is a paid role - fee negotiable, estimated 1/2 day of filming and 1 - 1.5 days…

Wales Lab - The Maiden's Voyage

About our Wales Lab project

Likely Story were inspired by a grainy black and white photograph from the 1900s of a group of women standing next to a hauled out pilot gig (a sea going rowing boat), found on the wall of the Anchor Inn, Seatown, Dorset.   A caption described them as “rude and coarse” fisherwomen who spent one summer fishing from the gig by day and sleeping under it on the beach by night.  It’s an image, and the seed of a story that has ignited the…

Looking for set builder (paid)

Likely Story are looking for a creative and conscientious set builder for our new project.  You will ideally be based in South Wales / South West (show rehearsing in Cardiff before Wales wide tour) with carpentry and welding skills and experience of producing robust, small scale touring sets.
