There’s definitely a certain ignorance surrounding Theatre in Wales. Is the term ‘Welsh Theatre’ used specifically to define Welsh language theatre, or does it simply mean Theatre in Wales? I would prefer to argue the latter. Welsh theatre doesn’t necessarily need to be written in Welsh to evoke a Welsh sentiment.
