With a new step every day...

Nice to be back working on a bit of Lunchtime Theatre."Heaven's Paradise" is a one-act psychological thriller from Derek Webb, with a superficially straightforward plot in which we're discovering all kinds of depth during rehearsals.Ten years ago, something weird happened on Lundy Island. To Jinx Or Not To Jinx at Swansea Grand Theatre

March 26, 2016 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Emily thinks she has found a soulmate in Thomas. Thomas feels the same, but his housemate Arthur is far more cynical about this woman’s charismatic manner and wonders if Emily is really committed to Thomas or whether she should just be committed. Oh, and there’s a serial killer on the loose...A superb new comedy from the excellent Katie Bowman, whose previous plays have included Wicked Intentions and Interference.See More

"This Is How We Die", Chapter 23.6.15

A great night popping my Chinwag cherry at Chapter, thanks to all involved!Christopher Brett Bailey is a phenomenon. I had issues with the production, which I will come to later, but none at all with the performance. Words like "mesmerizing" and "captivating" are devalued currency in theatre reviews, but sorry, drive; I ain't got nothing smaller. Bailey's variations of pace and power and his precise control of the margins made for something truly special. The content - much of it strong - is in…See More

Swapsies

Much larks at the NTW Team Skill Swap event in Cardiff on Sunday. I wasn't expecting it to turn into a cross-city treasure hunt, but it was worth it to discover the bounteous fields of Haribo!

An energizing and encouraging day. I will definitely be back for another go at a future event... if I can find it!
