Hi everyone, I'm doing some market research and I've put together a super quick 10 question survey on Survey Monkey about what you like to see at the theatre and would really appreciate it if you could take part. It's very short and takes about 30 seconds of your time. You can find the survey by clicking HERE!

Thanks! x

Maybe theatre companies should adapt and adopt this, and save us all a lot of time and energy:

The Sherman Writer's Forum is an invaluable service to playwriters/screenwriters and this month it is being held at Chapter Art's Center, Cardiff on Friday 16 November at 6.30pm, before the opening performance of Utah Bride, written and produce by Carmen Medway-Stephens who works tirelessly with new writers both at the Forum and at the Bridgend Writers Group.

This month's Forum includes a chance to speak and listen to those in the Theatre business, it is a great opportunity, so please, come along!

I will be there without fail!

In light of the Bush comments - so if you now really need to think about making that submission count and what you're writing  OR make that script worth all the time, blood, sweat, family breakdowns, nervous breakdowns, day job breakdowns ..... and of course your personal investment or perhaps if you want to go the independent route come to friday's forum 6.30 before Utah - 4 key guests of WELSH THEATRE will be there, it will be about helping you make informed choices. You will also get to see a brand new piece of writing that has gone through the independent route - Ten people so far have said they're attending - who else is going to this one off amazing opportunity?

The forum is being held at Chapter this time because it fell on Bonfire night but back to normal in December at the Sherman.

re Bush overhauls new writing. If anyone finds the new process daunting this seems easier and less convoluted - http://www.nasa.gov/centers/johnson/pdf/606877main_FS-2011-11-057-J...
