No that's ok Lisa,I understand that devising and performance requires voluntary creative artists. I read that a lot of Actors are being manipulated for their services and as long as all information is given then we can all decide for ourselves whether we want or in cases are able to put ourselves forward whether it be for pay or not.
Thanks
Ed

need a male actor (un paid :( ) 13th Dec for around two hours for a ten mintue play read through event, Sony Theatre, Bridgend
Sorry Edward - think that was aimed at me and the advert for performers for the Christmas project above. I did put it was voluntary in the text but appreciate I could have made that more visible. Apologies.
Just going to also point out while I'm here that it wasn't an audition advert but a call for collaborators for devised work. I am running the project very much around the awareness that people are giving their time voluntarily and as such it is structured differently from a commercial project.
If anyone out there is interested and would like more information but hasn't got in touch yet I have a couple of spaces left. Please get back asap though as rehearsals start next week.
Cheers, Lisa
Just wondering in regards to advertising Acting Auditions on here is it possible to say whether the jobs are paid or not? In these difficult times it is a challenge for people to be able to do commit to parts as much as we enjoy them I think considering the wealth of talent we have in Wales we should be advised as to whether the jobs we apply for are paid or not.
Thank you.

Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd let you know I'm currently appearing in Mal Pope's hit musical 'Cappuccino Girls' at The South Wales Evening Post Theatre on Swansea High Street. It is currently the longest running musical in one place outside of the West End!
It's running until Christmas on Wednesday-Sundays at 7.30pm with matinee's on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2.30pm
It would be great to get some people from Cardiff down to support.
It's a goodnight out, especially for the ladies.
Hope to see you there xxx
Meic, diolch am yr heads up!!
