National Theatre Wales FREELANCE PERFORMERS

National Theatre Wales are seeking 6 creative individuals/performers with a strong sense of community at the heart of their work, for our new Assembly projects. We are looking for individuals from across Wales. All will have an in-depth understanding, knowledge & aptitude for working with local communities and creating innovative & bespoke participatory projects.

 

The selection process will take place through a workshop day.

 

There will be 5 days of residential training provided by national & international arts practitioners. Salary: £100 per day including training days.

 

Deadline for applications: 12 noon Monday 28th November 2011

 

Selection workshops will take place in Bangor: 30th November

                                                        Cardiff: 1st Dec 2011

 

Training dates: 5th Dec – 9th Dec 2011

OK am going to send an email to all on the database Abdul collated now to find a date for the official meeting unless anyone thinks otherwise? We can promote that meting here and on the other networks suggested?

National Youth Arts Wales (NYAW) has quite an extensive database.  I'll alert members to the existence of this Group as a Forum for discussion and, hopefully, swell the ranks.  I'll start with our Youth Theatre contacts but could then extend to Youth Dance and Youth Music contacts as/when we think that would be useful.  Apologies (in advance) for cross-posting!

I would be very interested in attending any future group meetings. I will raise it at the agency meeting of the Young peoples / TIE  theatre companies in Wales next week.
