- Hassan Ahmed Farah (Panero) is a Poet & Script Writer for De Gabay produced by National Theatre Wales in Butetown, Cardiff
- A little more about me:
- Hassan Ahmed Farah (Panero) is a poet in the field of the unheard, he has been a traveller to the theatre since participatory art gave way to communicate, Hassan is a Somali born & raised in Denmark, as he grew up amongst his parents & nine Brothers & Sisters ethics & family love fuelled him with ambition, he came to live in Wales at the age of 15.
Change then became a huge subject in his writing and language, he at once used his creativity to influence himself to reflect on the importance that laid in the unheard voices, through poetry he tapped into the frequency of simplicity generating art, on a international level like workshops in Somalia, poetry has made a intense impact on community elders and the young that usually are misunderstood, his ambition is for De Gabay to enter into the book of History and create a unheard Chapter.
The Guardian wrote “150 of the country's leading participatory arts thinkers, practitioners and leaders united at the Institute of Contemporary Arts for the national summit Because We're Worth It! – and Hassan Panero, a Somali poet working with NTW, who captivated the audience with his lyrical prose and his own story of surprise that the organisation weren't "too posh to talk to him." “

De Gabay visited London Tate modern museum & Bush Theatre
Inspiration and dedication to our creativity in writing poetry
We had a great deal of fun and networking, later that evening we celebrated the glory of Wales winning the Grand Slam, the Londoners were slightly annoyed lol.
