Thanks Andy for posting that, next forum should be the first monday of March - will confirm date soon
Good to meet those who attended the Playwright's Forum at Sherman Cymru tonight. I mentioned the two publishers who took on my work. I thought I would share their web addresses as they accept submissions from writers without representation. They publish, promote and handling licensing of productions. Its a different way of getting work out there and it didn't do me (or my CV) any harm.

"Our life is half natural and half technological. Half-and-half is good. You cannot deny that high-tech is progress. We need it for jobs. Yet if you make only high-tech, you make war. So we must have a strong human element to keep modesty and natural life."

@Johnson. The visual arts got a grip on it. Visual artists predicted it. Read this-

Theatre practitioners who behave as if they're at the forefront have got things back to front. Notice when Paik was doing this work. Look at it and think to yourself: where have I recently seen and heard this before; ripped off, ripped up but ever so familiar? Theatre is stealing notions from art forms that got to grip with the net years ago.

@garyowen. Of course I'll go! Once to Watford equals twice to Mold!
Med, please stay tuned for my new play 'Perfect Match' at the Watford Palace Theatre later this year (if they can find the money). Watford of course a mere fourteen hour round trip from your side of Narberth...
Interesting article. I think the reason there hasn't been much written is the same reason that plays about WW2 were mostly written after the war. As was mentioned in the article, it's still impacting on our lives, nobody can quite get a grip on it yet.
Speaking of technology, last week I saw The Magistrate, not at the National but at a cinema in Neath. An excellent comedy, but perhaps the most interesting thing was that it 'played' in several countries to an estimated audience of 80,000.
With theatre capacities & runs finite, could this be an answer to generating extra income for mainstream plays and increasing audience for even very small shows?
