Hello Cymru! Cardiff!

I arrived at Cardiff 2 days ago.

I was surprised at  a lot of sea gulls flying in the sky.

I like sea gulls.

Today, I went to National Museum Cardiff.

At first, I was touched by Tim Davies"postcard series2"

My imagination expanded when I watched the person-shaped hole which opened to the postcard.

I couldn't…

The play is about the (danger in the) autonomy of one's consciousness.

These days,I strongly felt the danger of one's consistency surrounding vast amount of information, images…

Where is our Stuff?

Greetings All

The cupboard is bare.   Much of  that lovely technical equipment; ipods, cameras, microphones etc....that we use for our shows, R and Ds, Assembly, WalesLab and that we lend to people for their own projects has left the building for lots of really good reasons, but has not returned yet.  I am sure that they have got lost on the way back, but we miss them terribly and would like them to come home.

Please look in your drawers, your garages, under…

WalesLab is a-changing

Just as we come to the end of WalesLab's second year...I thought this would be a good time to let you know about some of the changes we've been making. (And, how you can get involved!)

The biggest change so far is that we have decided to move away from issuing 'call for submissions'. As an artist applying for these things in the past, I’ve always struggled with this process. I've found it to be much more helpful…

(Not so) New Arrival

No, i’m not talking about the new little royal but about me. I'm coming to the end of my first three months as Creative Associate for WalesLab at NTW and i thought it would be a good idea to quickly check-in and take stock.

Since I started I have been involved in so many a wondrous thing but biggest and bestest of all has to be Summercamp on Ynys Mon. Two weeks with Matt…

Pollinate 2013 Audio Diary

For me the WalesLab Pollinate summer camp was a wonderful success. Its been a few days since I arrived home from summer camp and since then I feel quite revitalised. In those two weeks I met some really amazing people and had an absolutely wonderful time working with them all in different ways. As I was the only sound based artist there I felt I had a place and a role, and the role was utilised well.

I set myself a goal to write a whole album about the experience on a day to day basis…

Asylum- part 2

Well, part 2 of the ‘Asylum’ project was a huge eye opener for me in so many ways.

Ummm….where do I start!

The main thing that I want audience members/players to experience in this piece is their relationship with their mind. It’s quite an intimate journey really. I wanted to put them in situations where their minds, instinct and response is tested to see how much we can trust our brains, how different we all are and ultimately, how mental health…

Asylum Waleslab

So, Waleslab has allowed me to have ten days to play, explore and develop an idea I have for a LARP (Live Action Role Play). I started this process knowing that I wanted three things-

1) Developing an interactive experience where the audience members step into a world that they can touch, talk to, add to and change.

2) To play…
