Hi my name is Heloise Godfrey-Talbot, I’m a video artist.
I’m currently researching the possibility of creating a digital ‘musical dialogue’ between musicians and individuals who do not use speech as their main method of communicating with the world (specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder). The project is called The Joy Orchestra and will eventually be a multi-screen event for a testbed performance in May 2014.

Such a shame that amateur theatre doesn't get more publicity. After all, most of our wonderful professional actors started by taking part in school performances, or by joining a local amateur theatre group.
It would really be appreciated if National Theatre Wales kept in touch with NODA and like organisations - or indeed with amateur groups all over Wales.

The Unknown Theatre Company are holding auditions on 26th and 28th January for their production of Sondheim's Into The Woods. Directed by James Williams. All parts are available. Rehearsals will be Tuesday evenings at Roath Church House Waterloo Road from 7p.m.till 9.30 with a possibility of picking up Sunday rehearsals too in a month or two.
