Apparently, if you have lost something you should say that name of that thing out loud over and over again. You, like me, might be accustomed to this ritual without even realising that you are in fact, like me, brilliant at looking for things. There’s something about repeating the word out loud that connects the object and relevant images in your mind; every time pressing ‘next’ for a new image that might match. Eventually an image and the object hold together, a structure is built, a bridge…Continue

Hi every one,
I am looking for volunteers for a flash mob on Saturday 7th December 2013 in Cardiff city centre at 1.30pm.
I am staging a flash mob to spread awareness of the atrocities that are taking place following the ousting of the first democratically elected president in Egypt. Since he was ousted from power illegally by the army, the army has used force killing, torturing and arresting people simple because they stood up for their basic human…Continue

The Century Theatre is thought to be the only solid structure, fully equipped, mobile theatre in the world. The dream of John Ridley, an engineer, was turned into reality in a Hinckley yard between 1948 and 1952 .
Converted from wartime military trailers and tractors, the theatre travelled in convoy of 32 vehicles to provide quality theatre around the country for 23 years. The convoy would often travel at no more than 8 miles an hour.…Continue

CARNEGIE HALL STAGEHANDS MAKING AVERAGE OF $419,000 END STRIKE
This week, Carnegie Hall stagehands who make on average $419,000 a year went on strike, forcing the cancellation of a gala that would have benefited nonprofit artistic and education programs.
The dispute between the 122-year hall and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Union, reportedly the first ever strike at Carnegie Hall, was resolved on Friday. …

Hello, how are you feeling today?
I'd like to introduce the project that I am currently working on. I would like this space to be somewhere that I can word vomit and not clean it up, so I will keep updating this every Sunday from next week and let it pile up.
I am studying theatre at Falmouth University and this project is the part of my third year PIC module (Practice in context) where for twelve weeks the student artist embarks on a self-led project. At the end of year two I had…
