Rain of Blood in Rehearsal

Well, Rain of Blood has been cast. The set designer has made some sketches - I've not seen them but they have been described to me as 'works of art'. A filming schedule has been set up (largely dictated by the availability of the locations). Costumes have been sourced. The next challenge is to 'man up' a vampy dress, and build a coffin with room for two. In my 'other life' it is said that 'Equity does not assist a volunteer.' WORLD STAGE DESIGN 2013 UNVEILS PLANS FOR RECYCLABLE THEATRE

Brand new Leftfield Theatre Company needs you!

In 1971 playwright John McGrath set up a theatre group called 7:84, based on a statistic from 1966 that claimed 7% of the population owned 84% of the country's wealth.

7:84 was a launch pad for a lot of actors careers, and included names such as David Tennant, Douglas Henshall, Peter Mullan and Cathy-Ann Mcphee to name a few.
