Hello everyone,
I just wondered if anyone could suggest the best way to attract and request sponsors for our children's shows? This year we have done a relatively small scale production but hoping to increase this next year and a little extra budget would be nice?
Thanks,
Sophie

A call for actors - Exciting new project!
A new project in Cardiff is looking for new actors to be part of this very exciting period!
'Talent Taf'(to be confirmed) will be a brand new actors agency, ran by one that knows exactly how hard it is to get into the field and to find agents willing to give someone a try - therefore has decided to take matters into her own hand and create her own. With this decision, hard work and previous experience of working in an agent, the intention…

Paper, paper everywhere. On the walls, in books, in forests. Words printed on paper which make us feel and think and take action or just - stop. Pictures and images which portray emotion. Yet can a piece of paper with ink on it change our lives? It sure can. This infuriates me. Our choices should be free and not limited due to ink on paper. I could be choosing French and drama as GCSEs but because they're in the same column on a…

HIDE
Created by Deborah Light
Chapter Arts Centre, Studio
22nd Feb 2013
When confronted by a naked, giggling woman as you walk into the theatre you know the show you are about to see is either going to be attention-seeking or daring. Deborah Light’s innovative first full length piece of course fell into the latter category – original and thought provoking.
With a cast of world-renowned female…

While in the thick of the Butetown residency for De Gabay quite a lot of the team went to Treorchy to the Parc & Dare last Wednesday to get stuck in to conversations about our residency there in the autumn this year.
A great team of people work for RCT theatres - Geoff Cripps, Artistic Director, treated us all to homemade Welsh cakes and I bumped in to a mate from Trinity University, Simon Davey, who is now the Parc & Dare Theatre Manager - so we will have a lot to catch up on…

Helo and Hello,
I'm trying to build a database of Welsh-speaking performers/makers/producers/artists working in Street Arts and Outdoor Arts in Wales (or indeed beyond Wales). I was recently energised by the work of Celtic Neighbours http://www.celtic-neighbours.eu/
and am working with a few performers in the Street and Outdoor Arts sector to seek out Welsh-speakers or learners in this field of work. I haven't found…
