STORM 3 thoughts and feelings...

So I’m not much of a writer but here are my thoughts ...

This week has been SICKKK.

I have the opportunity to work with a group of human beings who are so honest and open and mind-blowing and I’m feeling incredibly lucky about that.

Today (day four) we got to enter the space of ‘The Neon’ for the first time! Yes, okay, I had my first initial opinions when told that this would be the space to house Storm 3. I mean, I’ve only ever been there for Bingo Lingo and… Continue

How might digital advancements change the identity of theatre?

Ceriann Williams

Summary of discussion

Ceriann attended the Edinburgh Fringe last year as part of the Total Theatre network and saw a lot of work which was labelled ‘unconventional’ in style. Much of this work was multiplatform and had a digital element and has raised a question about why we see little of these advancements in Wales:

Why do…

What is our dream for theatre in Wales over the next ten years?

Hi everyone,

Here’s a list of the 70 conversations that were called on Sunday. Several merged, lots evolved into something different and some never happened because people were pulled in other directions.

If you’ve got notes in your bag, on your phone or in your head, you can still email them to us, until the end of the week,…

Summary of discussion

TEAM Model. It works. It’s sick.

Successful in engaging people who don’t ordinarily connect with theatre in its traditional model, people who don’t necessarily think that theatre is for them.

Make it a bigger part of what NTW does.

I’d like NTW to better acknowledge other languages that exist in Wales, beyond…

NTW STORM 3. DAY 1

Yesterday was the first day of our thoughtful, wordy, adventure in making some responsive reflective performance that will knowingly coincide with Britain's expected departure from Europe.

Working on this project as one of 8 performers, who were all selected for their various skills, voices, approaches and backgrounds in performance, I'm gunna speak only as 1 of that 8.

(1) - 8.

As far as first days go I think each of us entered the room with a certain amount of anxiety…
