Workshop Identity: A Story about Europe

"It is the specific details that are closer to universal truths", said Mathilde Lopez (Artistic Director of August 012) during the round table discussion following friday’s performance of Politics Explained to My Grandchildren: A Bildungsroman About Europe.  This idea of using minute aspects of personal stories to build larger ____ is integral to the W.I.S.E Project’s success. HIJINX AT THE SENEDD 23 March 2015

THE MATTHEW PURNELL SHOW

Having been invited to the launch of the Hijinx Unity Festival 2015 programme I arrived at the Senedd, the venue for the launch, with plenty of time to spare. I didn’t however fully prepare for the degree of security that was necessary to endure to enter to the building. Pockets emptied, jacket and belt off I escaped triggering the magic eye as I entered the other side.
