Early wishes for.... Happy International Women's Day!
There are 1000's of inspiring Welsh women but the lady who had the biggest impact on my creativity through her talent is Eiry Palfrey. I attended a concert and poetry reading she hosted and was not really looking forward to it initially as I thought it would be quite heavy going but it was magical. The warmth and passion behind the delivery of the poetry made the imagery come alive and switched me onto the spoken word for…

I arrived in Tokyo on Tuesday evening, and now it's Thursday night. So far I've had two days or rehearsal for The Opportunity of Efficiency, one production meeting and a meet and greet. I've been to another play at the theatre, searched for a SIM card (no joy) and eaten a plenty of rice and skewered chicken but no sushi. No photos yet, I'm afraid - will try and sort that out (but I have managed a few shaky vine videos - shared on Twitter). I'm staying in the Hatagaya neighbourhood, just…

Mae’n anghyffredin i gwmni cynnal dwy brosiect dilynnol sy’ mor debyg o ran thema a neges, ond sy’n cwbwl wahanol o ran sefydliad ac awyrgylch. Dyma yn union beth mae Theatr Genedlaethol wedi gwneud gyda cynhyrchiad newydd o Dyled Eileen. Yn dilyn llwyddiant ysgubol Y Bont, gynhyrchiad safle sbesiffig yn Aberystwyth mis dwethaf, mae Theatr Genedlaethol yn parhau ar yr un trywydd gyda Dyled Eileen, ond yn ddod a’r gynhyrchiad i theatrau clud o gwmpas…

What? That's a bit weird, no? Music for people who can't hear?
Well, no, actually. The BBC National Orchestra of Wales last week held a short series of concerts especially created for Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing audiences. I was delighted to be able to go to one of them and I had a really great experience.
I'm a classical musician by training, and I really like orchestras, so I go to a lot of concerts. I've never been to one like this before. I'd expected there would be…

Keepers of the Way is a theatre project exploring some the amazing characters I've met, stories I've heard, and experiences I've had travelling through Wales. The aim is to bring them to life and share them with a wider community - bringing into focus the reality of rural life and travel.
It is a piece about people, interaction and movement; It's about choosing to interact. As a theatre-maker, I want it to…
