Morning all,
Yesterday I was lucky enough to watch the dress rehearsal for The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning before they opened for the festival in the evening. I was highly interested in the whole story of Bradley Manning before hand, yet after the show I feel so much more informed!
The reason I am blogging about this the morning after is that I may have been up all last night watching wikileaks documentaries, one of which …

Well, pretty both myself and Laura were wiped out from yesterday, lord only knows how all the production team and performers in The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning must have been feeling.
So I think I'm right in saying that I have only seen two shows today, but I am off for a third later.
The first was Volcano's L.O.V.E. I have mixed feelings about the…

We're up in Edinburgh at the moment, to open The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013. The dress rehearsal is taking place as I type, and the first show is this evening at 7.30pm. It's been a fast and furious two weeks of rehearsal and for those behind the scenes - getting everything ready for Edinburgh, from costumes to posters, lighting rigs to train tickets and much more besides. The show is looking great, though, and I'm very excited for opening…

Here' s the new E.P - Recycle - by AcouChristo. If you heard the Pollinate 2013 Audio diary then please give this a go and let me know what you think.
All of the sounds were recorded at the Cardiff Cycle Workshop in Ely and the album was put together back in my home in Roath.
It tells the story of the workshop itself and of the people working within it to encourage people not only to get on…

Bit of a short and sweet blog as I sit at two o'clock in the morning on my laptop in my ensuite student accommodation, which in Edinburgh terms makes me well-posh.
It's been a bit of a long day, but having been here for the last two years I have enjoyed showing off to Laura today my knowledge of where to go and what to do like the narcissistic maniac that I am. It feels nice this year having a real grasp of where everything is and I think that will help me concentrate on blogging and…

Tim Price’s The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning has won the James Tait Black Prize for Drama 2013. The announcement was made at an awards ceremony on Monday evening (5th August).
The James Tait Black Prize is the UK's oldest literary award, but this is its first ever award for Drama, worth £10,000. The shortlist of five productions – including Kaite O’Reilly’s In Water I’m Weightless, another National Theatre Wales production – was chosen from more…

We are building the set in St Thomas Aquin school in Edinburgh.
Things did not start auspiciously as we could not get the truck into the yard at the back of the school, the driver just could not make the turn, it was too tight. Of course we all stood around and watched the poor man shuffling backwards and forwards and we did make many helpful suggestions that he sensibly and politely ignored. There was one point when it really looked like he had tied a knot in his wagon,…

"There was a man who dreamed of becoming an actor, so he spoke only lies... then it came true."
I wrote that a couple of years ago and couldn't figure out what it was. Not funny enough to be a joke, too short to be a poem. I classified it as a vague, philosophical musing and continued with my meandering existence.
Looking back at it now it seems almost prophetic, as I am now in the rehearsal stage of my first acting role in an independent feature-length film entitled…
